@Ethryndal We just watched Rogue One, and *flails* CASSIAN!!!

For old times’ sake, you know. XD

    But SERIOUSLY. O.o

    • HA!!! Oh my goodness, I love you. *recalls the twenty-two page email chain about RO*
We just went through all the Star Warses (how do you say that plural?) before Last Jedi came out, and… *flails* He really is a dear little grump.

      And K-2SO…

“Do you want to know the odds of her using that blaster against you? They’re high. They’re very high.”

      • We went through all the Star Wars(es? Gollum-speak, maybe…) before TLJ too, except Rogue One since it didn’t HAVE to be seen before TLJ. So we just finally got around to watching it. Caroline and Douglas didn’t really flail over it, which makes me sad. But I have enough flails to make up for it, so *FLAILS*

YES. And him and Cassian. *FLAILS*

“These are prisoners. I am taking them…to imprison them…in…prison.”
        Such subtlety, bub.

Krennic grows on me more each time I see it too. And poor Bohdi. He’s so sweet.

      • (Oh, and except the prequels but that goes without saying. ;P)

        • You know, I’m really ashamed of those two. They just did not inherent good flailing genes. *shakes head sternly* Here’s a flail to join your flail to make up for their lack of flails.

          *FLAILS*

“I thought I told you to stay at the ship!”
“You did, but I thought it was boring.”

HA, yes, Krennic’s grown on me too. What personality type, do you think?

And Bohdi is such a sweet little puppy who did NOT deserve that type of death. He needed something… heroic. He did NOT need to be blown up in his ship.

          • It’s sad.

            *FLAILS*

“There were a lot of explosions for two people just blending in.”

            INFP, I think.
There’s such variation within the kind…

NO. *vigorous nodding* And I think he’s an INFP too. MUCH variation within the kind. 😛 Did you have any ideas as to what he and Krennic were?

            • “I will help you, Jyn Erso… Because Cassian says I have to.”

*chokes* INFP? HA! That’s hilarious. I don’t think I would have guessed that for Krennnic. I can see it with Bohdi, though he always hit me as more of an E. Honestly, RO characters are really hard to type. Maybe because we don’t get to know them as well as other movie characters? I don’t know.

And you know, I’m having a really hard time seeing Cassian as an ISFJ. Even if he wasn’t so broken.

(By the way, a couple of your most recent emails mysteriously disappeared in my inbox several days ago, which is why I haven’t responded to anything lately. This happened a few times before, so I know they will eventually turn up. Just hang tight, because I’m not ignoring you. 🙂 )

          • Me either, until Kate elaborated, and then it made more sense. Slightly at least. And I know, especially ’cause Bohdi talks so much! I’ve thought maybe he’s an ENFP, but then he seems so…nervous and almost shy sometimes. I dunno. (But at any rate, I adore his and Galen’s relationship.) I think that’s a safe theory, about RO characters. A good excuse, at the very least. XD

*snicker* Yeeaaahhh…sometimes I can’t see it. It’s strange, because when I think of it I can’t come up with anything else, so it sits at that, but then I’m like…he’s gotta be something else. INFJ is the closest other I can come to it, ’cause I’m pretty sure he is a Feeler. He seems too touchy-feely and close (even when he’s mad) to be a Thinker, if you know what I’m sayin’. XD But I really can’t settle for sure. What do you think he could be?

(*shock* Horrid computer. I can resend them or something if you need me too. The worst I’d come up with was that you were in some slough of depression, and I’ve only been wracking my brain about what I could do to let you know I wasn’t ignoring you either without being condescending. The Overthinker strikes again.
            Stop snorting now.)

            • Awww, I know. They’re relationship was the best, even if there wasn’t very much of it.

I still think he’s an ISTJ… Reminds me of a hardened Horatio, what with being a stickler for rules and following orders and all that stuff. And his ability to compartmentalize death and the horrible things he’s done seems very Thinkerish, in my humble (and probably wrong) opinion. I dunno. I always got a very strong Thinker vibe off of him. Which is funny, since you’re pretty sure he’s a Feeler. Sometimes I wonder if people’s differing opinions on character MBTI is because we subconsciously separate the characteristics we individually relate to from the rest of the character, and end up building our view off of that.

*chokes down a snort* I wasn’t laughing, I promise. *wheezes* Emma, seriously, you’re the best. But no, you are spared from having to launch into a non-condescending pep-talk. Horrid technology is to blame.
AND as of ten minutes ago, they all reappeared, so YAY for that. I knew they would.

          • HA! That’s hilarious. (Okay maybe not exactly, but…you get the point.) Poor us. I dunno. It’s always possible…we humans do tend to see things from our own individual viewpoints. (AAAND the prize goes to Emma Flournoy, for stunning understatement of the year.) It’s quite vexing to see the same people typed differently all over the internet, especially when it’s some historical character I’m looking up and haven’t seen myself so I can’t know. (Of course, the internet peeps can’t technically KNOW either, unless they’re ghosts from the past, but…it’s still annoying. And historians know more about those guys than I do.) *scowl* Inconsistency is a vice. What’s really great is when there’s a universal consensus about the same person. (Because, majority rule, I mean…what could be wrong?)
What you said about his Thinker-ness does make sense…but…other things scream Feeler to me. I guess we’ll never know. *fatalistic shrug* But at least we know he’s Cassian and we know he’s an awesome character.

            *grunts* All right. Good. 😂

Actually, I suppose I could just look Cassian up and see if anyone else is saying his MBTI. At least it’ll give me an idea of how other people see him. 😛 I think I’ll do that.

            • Ugh. I accidentally just deleted my comment. You probably got the notification already, but I’m doing it again anyway. I said, looks like I’m outta luck, ’cause I looked him up and almost everyone says ISTJ or ISTP. *mopes* You’ve got the majority on your side at least. I read this—

              https://funkymbtifiction.tumblr.com/post/155076783030/rogue-one-cassian-jeron-andor-istj

—which I’m sure you’ll agree with (even though it’s talking in cognitive functions, you can get the gist), and is actually sort of convincing, though I can still see him going just as well for F. *sticks nose in the air*
              Oh well. 😂
But I saw tons of clearly and glaringly inaccurate typings for other SW characters, which saddened me greatly. Not everyone is right.

            • *groan* And I don’t know why it just posted the whole article there instead of the link. I’m sorry. Blame horrid computers.

            • WOW! I was… I was RIGHT??? BY MAJORITY??? *immediately lets it go to her head**cough* I’m sure we could argue that since every one seems to be so off about those other characters, they’re off on him as well. *cough cough* Though that article seems rather convincing… *cough cough choke* (And I actually sorta knew what the cognitive function things meant! You sent me an article about them. It was interesting.)

I suppose the debate concerning Cassian Andor’s personality has just come to an end. I win. 😀

              By majority.

              *pokes you*

(And that’s actually kinda cool, how the entire article shows up here. I didn’t know that was possible.)

    • @Ethryndal

😂 I know I sent you an article about them. I hadn’t forgotten. *smirk* But it didn’t exactly say everything there was to know about them, thus, it still may have been confusing. But I’m glad it wasn’t!

*meekly submits to poking* I admit it. I’m right only by minority vote. *pitiful sniff* You win.

      By majority.

*raises eyebrows* Well, game over. *sets cup down*
