@emma-flournoy Hey you, how are you doing during life these days?

    • Hey you! Not too bad, not too bad. I’m swamped with stuff I’m needing to do—or about to be starting—but I actually haven’t been HORRIBLY depressed for a good bit, so that’s something to be happy about right?!
How ’bout you? I just sent your letter off yesterday, so it should be coming soon. We got back last weekend from a homeschool family camp in Iowa (which was good though slightly overwhelming too…), so I’ve been trying to catch up on stuff and things. And get ready for starting some other things, and am generally involved with things. 😛
I’m so shocked it’s almost Fall, but I’m loving and looking forward to the nice cooler weather between now and Winter (when it’ll then be a little too cold. ).
College still going fabulously? You said it’s not too far from your home, right, so you’ll be able to visit? That’s so nice. <3 I bet your family misses you… I know I would. 😛

      • Aww, I’m glad you haven’t been horribly depressed 🙂 I look forward to your letter. I have been as busy as heck. But it’s really been good. I love the people here. I’ll give you all the details in my letter. But I’ve found two ladies who have both adopted me so I sort of have a couple mentor characters which I absolutely love. I’ve been able to visit home a couple times which has been really nice here. And my parents are coming up soon for my birthday on Oct. 6th. I forgot how much I missed talking you until I thought about you and decided to message you. 🙂

        • Aww. <3 You too.
That stuff is so great! I'm glad there are so many nice people there.
Aaaand your birthday. Yup, I remember…you're turning 19 right?

Yep. 19 I haven’t gotten your letter yet though I’m off campus right now and I’m sure it’ll be there on Monday 🙂 Don’t you just love this new website!! I’m so proud of the staff 🙂

            • I know! It’s really great.

I got your letter today 🙂 Today was chaotic and was somewhat awful but I appreciated your letter 🙂 How are you?

            • Ah no. 🙁 I hope today’s better. I’m doing well. The weather just turned lovely, so we have doors and windows open and the wonderful fall breeze coming through the house. We’ll be canning apples this afternoon (my dad has a big spread-out orchard on our property—it’s the greatest thing with all the fresh apples we get to eat), and I just started a few days ago reading the Roman Britain trilogy by Rosemary Sutcliff, which I read a long time ago but before I would’ve appreciated it fully. It’s pretty good so far. Are you reading anything good right now? Or have you not had a lot of time to yet with college? 😀

            • @emma-flournoy That sounds like a wonderful day! I’ve had some time to read actually which is nice, or at least I’m making time. I’m currently reading Speaker for the Dead, the second Ender’s Game book (It’s one of Josiah’s favorites so of course I had to read it 😉 )

            • Ooh, that does sound interesting. The name Ender’s Game is ringing a bell, so I must’ve heard of it before. Most likely on here. 😉 Is it good so far?

            • Yeah, it’s pretty popular. It was made into a movie a few years back. I really like it. Are you enjoying what you are reading?
