Hi Julia, thanks! I like to write mostly realistic fiction, but also some fanciful fiction or allegorical type. What about you? What is your favorite time period?
I like fantasy and sci-fi. I love writing short stories. As for time periods, I love the medieval era, Renaissance period, and also pre-Christian eras. I think there is so little known about exactly what happened when in those times that you could make almost anything happen and you wouldn’t really have to worry about dates or what was invented when.
Aside from that, what kind of books do you like? What movies are your favorites? What do you do for fun?
I think fantasy is cool, but I’m not so good at writing it, usually. My sister is pretty good at that, I think. I do think medieval era is pretty fascinating. Those time periods would be pretty easy to write about. I’ve always been really interested in WWI & II era. Usually, when I try to write short stories, they turn into novels…that have yet to be finished. XD
I like a lot of realisric fiction, historical fiction, biographies, fantasy, animal books… guess it depends what mood I’m in. 😉 Movies? Hmm, hard to pick one… I like Chronicles of Narnia, Disney, especially Beauty & the Beast & Finding Nemo/ Dory (you’re never too old for fairy tales, right?) A lot of historical fiction/ biographical, such as Les Miserables, Kendrick brothers films (have you seen any of those?) 🙂
What do I do for fun? Write! 😉 Also, I love scrapbooking, photography, practicing piano or violin, being outside, oil painting, quilting, journaling, reading, playing games, talking, reading, or singing with my sisters & little brothers ( and parents)… hmm, I can’t think of anything else right now. You?
